SUBSTANCE NAME(S): Purple Down
VISUAL DESCRIPTION: Purple rocky chunks
DETAILS: Substance sold as Purple Down is causing people to experience drug poisonings after smoking it. In two incidents, multiple doses of naloxone were given. Substance is purple in colour and rocky in appearance.
When we tested the substance on the FTiR machine, the results showed it contained no actual drugs, opioid or otherwise. Instead, it was 30% lead oxide plus other chemicals not fit for human consumption (4-chlorobutyronitrile 25%, barium phosphinate 21%).
