VISUAL DESCRIPTION: Dark purple in colour

DETAILS: Dark purple in colour. Tested on the FTIR machine at MOPS; contained fentanyl and benzodiazepine. Suspected to be the same substance that caused an overdose at MOPS earlier in the week that required EMS to revive.

Benzodiazepines are sedatives and do not respond to naloxone. When combined with other drugs, they can increase the risk of a complex overdose.

12.1% benzodiazepine
