Substance Sold As: Unknown, possibly LSD
Visual Description: None available
Drugs sold in the form of blotter paper (small paper squares) were tested and found to contain primarily benzodiazepine (Bromazolam).
Bromazolam is a high-potency, short acting benzodiazepine (benzo) which causes respiratory depression and sedation and may cause a person to lose consciousness. Because it is not an opioid, naloxone does not work on it.
The drugs were seized by Winnipeg Police Services in February. THey were tested by Health Canada Drug Analysis Services.
