Substance Sold As: Down and Down/Louis Vuitton
Visual Description: Red chunk/pebble and purple chunk/pebble
Red chunk/pebble sold as DOWN and a purple chunk/pebble sold as DOWN/Louis Vuitton contained Carfentanil (<1%) and Flubromazepam (<1%).
Carfentanil is considered to be up to 100 times stronger than fentanyl. It is also difficult to detect through standard drug tests or testing strips.
Flubromazepan is a potent, long-acting benzodiazepine-related drug.
Benzodiazepines do not respond to naloxone. When combined with other drugs such as opioids, they can increase the risk of complex overdose.
Samples were tested at Street Connections on April 7, 2025, and sent for confirmatory testing at Health Canada Drug Analysis Services.
