Two overdose events today had symptoms that indicated complex, multi-substance drug toxicity.
One required 8 doses of naloxone, 20 minutes and EMS to revive
Another one required EMS intervention and the individual requested to go to hospital with paramedics, which is unusual.
When using substances that may contain a combination of opioids and sedatives, it is especially important to start low and go slow, use with a friend, and stagger your use.
