DRUG ALERT - THURSDAY, APRIL 20, 2024 - WINNIPEG

Community organizations are seeing a significant uptick in drug toxicity events.

These events (“overdoses”) have required more doses of naloxone to revive — up to 17 doses for a single event.

This is happening with substances sold under a variety of names, including down, meth and jib.

If you are using drugs, please:

-Use with a friend

-Start low and go slow

-Carry and know how to use naloxone

If you are using alone, consider calling a friend or the NORS line at 1-888-688-NORS so they can spot you
